Our origin is a story of shared love. My daughter’s love for her cherished childhood pink African blanket and my deep love for my African heritage.
When my 2-year-old daughter started her daycare adventure, my parental anxiety kicked in - "Will she be able to sleep without her blanket?"
Due to the dimensions, she couldn’t take her beloved pink African print security blanket as a nap mat requested by the center. This sent me on a quest to find a nap mat with similar cultural prints that would reflect her home and give her a sense of security. Frustrated by the lack of diverse options, I was driven to create a solution that sings with diversity, waving goodbye to the monotony of mainstream designs.
Now, every nap is a colorful cultural comfortable cozy hug!
